Can we monitor temperatures alongside production data?

Yes, if suitable temperature sensors or existing controller signals are available. They can appear on the same screen as machine status. Agree units, timestamps, freshness indicators and the measurement context before combining readings. Your existing operational checks remain necessary when information is missing or delayed.

Is the system suitable for a HACCP environment?

Monitoring can support your HACCP procedures by making readings easier to access. However, the system does not replace required food safety controls or certifications. Your food safety team must assess suitability, required checks and handling of missing readings before use. Any proposed monitoring scope needs review within existing procedures.

Can we track batch or lot numbers?

If the machine or operator records include batch identifiers, they can be associated with production data. The approach depends on how your line currently handles batch tracking. Agree identifier formats, timestamp alignment and correction rules before linking records. Missing or manually entered identifiers should remain visible to the team reviewing a batch.
